Farm Machines Testing
About

Somebody should organize FMTTI. So we did.

FMTTI testing is genuinely well-run government infrastructure — and genuinely hard to navigate from the outside. Farm Machine Testing exists to be the one place that explains it clearly and guides you through it.

Our story

Built from the process up.

Farm Machine Testing grew out of the AgPro Consulting group’s core competence: helping manufacturers and buyers get what government infrastructure actually offers them. The group’s consulting work in farm mechanization runs constantly through institutional test procedures, scheme eligibility rules and government portals — the same machinery, it turned out, that decides whether a manufacturer’s FMTTI application takes weeks or months.

FMTTI itself is scattered across four institute websites, decades-old circulars, and a portal that assumes familiarity with its own workflow. Manufacturers and buyers had no single place to learn what FMTTI actually is, what it costs, how long a report stays valid, or how the 18-step application process really runs. We built that place, and built a guidance practice around it.

We are a young practice and say so plainly — you will find no invented testimonials or stock-photo customers here. What you can inspect instead is the process itself: every fact sourced, every claim about what we do (and don’t do) stated on every page.

Farm Machine Testing is a specialist FMTTI-testing consulting practice of AgPro Consulting Private Limited. (CIN U70200DL2025PTC450905, incorporated 2025), with operating teams in Pune and New Delhi. All engagements, invoicing and contracting are in the name of AgPro Consulting Private Limited.

Vision & Mission

Vision and Mission

Vision

An India where FMTTI certification is as legible a process as it is a well-run one.

Mission

To put a sourced, honest guide beside every manufacturer and buyer navigating FMTTI — application to Final Test Report.

What makes us different

Four commitments, structurally kept.

We don't run the test — FMTTI does. We guide everything around it.
We guide. FMTTI tests.
We never operate a test rig and never claim to. Our structural role is documentation, institute liaison and compliance interpretation — the parts of the process that are genuinely confusing, not the parts that are FMTTI's alone to run.
All 4 FMTTI institutes, pan-India
All 4 institutes, one point of contact
CFMTTI Budni's national tractor mandate, and the three regional institutes' own procedures — we track all of it so you don't have to learn four institutes' worth of process for one machine.
Verified sources, never invented numbers
Every number, sourced
Fees, institute locations, report validity, standards references — every fact on this site traces to a government circular or official portal. When we're not certain, we say so.
20+ years, each
Engineers, not agents
The practice is run by agricultural engineers with 20+ years each in farm mechanization — people who can actually read a test report, not just file the paperwork around one.
Values

How we run the practice.

Say it plain
FMTTI process explained in language a manufacturer or buyer actually uses — not portal jargon.
An honest 'not yet'
If your documentation isn't ready, or your machine doesn't need formal testing yet, you hear it in the first conversation.
We name what we don't do
We are not FMTTI, CFMTTI, BIS, ARAI or ICAT, and we say so on every page — the physical test is always theirs.
Track out loud
You always know which of the 18 process steps your application is at, and what it's waiting on.
