Farm Machine Testing is a private guidance and consulting service. We are notaffiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of FMTTI, CFMTTI, any regional FMTTI institute, BIS, ARAI, ICAT, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, or any central or state government body. We do not operate a testing laboratory or test rig of any kind. Applications run through the official Agri-Machinery Portal (agrimachinery.nic.in), and are free of charge beyond the institute’s own published testing fee; we never charge a fee for submitting one.

We do not test, certify, or issue a report for any machine ourselves. Our role is guidance and consulting: documentation preparation, institute and slot coordination, test-process explanation, and subsidy/procurement compliance support. The physical testing of any machine — and the resulting Draft or Final Test Report — is always performed by the relevant notified government institute’s own Test Engineers, not by Farm Machine Testing.

We describe FMTTI institutes, testing charges, the application process, and typical timelines. These descriptions are explanatory only. We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, that any particular test result will be achieved, that a Final Test Report will be issued, or that any process will complete within any timeframe. Eligibility, test outcomes, report validity, and scheme approvals are determined solely by the relevant authorities — the testing institute, the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, and the applicable scheme agency — on their own criteria. As the Ministry's own testing guidelines state: a test report reflects only the performance data recorded for that specific sample and does not itself communicate or signify approval or recommendation by the Government of India or the testing authority for any scheme or programme.

Testing charges, scheme rules, portal procedures, and applicable standards change periodically. Figures on this site (such as the FY 2025-26 testing-charge schedule, report-validity periods, and standards references) are drawn from official government sources and stated as current at the time of writing. Always verify the current position against the official source — agrimachinery.nic.in, the relevant institute’s own website, or the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare — before acting. Where this site and an official source disagree, the official source prevails. We do not warrant that any content here is current, complete, or error-free.
